I've Put My Faith

I've put my faith in Jesus Christ
And faithful He has been
He filled me with the Holy Spirit
When I repented of my sin
His grace now operating in me
For I know I've been Redeemed
With glad tidings to share with others
Of a Salvation highly esteemed

God works supernaturally
When He changes lives
Using His Word to open hearts
And make us truly alive
There's a new me living inside of me
Praise God I'm born again
I did what Jesus commanded me
Ye must be born again

My faith is blessed by God's favor
For He watches over me
His heart is gladened that I've trusted Christ
And I'm set for eternity
None can snatch me from His hand
For He's the Lord God Almighty
He careth such for His very own
And He holds onto them quite tightly

Safe in the arms of Jesus Christ
I'm resting in His work
When He cried out "it is finished! "
The devil gave a smirk
Satan thought he was the victor
Now he'd rule over all his foes
But in three days came
the awesomeness
Hallelujah Christ arose!

Praise God He's my Resurrection
I rejoice each day in Him
Sealed with the satisfaction of
Christ has dealt with all of my sin
He's removed any condemnation
That my soul had borne before
Now a new creature in Jesus Christ
Happier than I've ever been before!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
