I wait, I wait and I wait
In the name of fate
For the arrival of the rains
But of no gains?
Yet I lose no hope
Sitting on the roof top
Where not a single sparrow or a crow pop
To inquire of me seated on a furnace
Where the blazing sun with all its grace
Appear in smiles to test my patience
I pray for the rains
The sun have taxed my brains
I cannot think
I sink
How to carry on my job with sincerity?
I know not but pray to the deity
To send the clouds and pour down heavily on the roof top and the adjacent terrace
My words are listened and the sky is now in black dress
God send the rain
At least it will refrain
The scorching sun of June passing through Gemini to create havoc on me
Oh my guardian angels see
How I bleed profusely in quest of the rain
With the hope to soothe my brain
My mind and spirit will then fly
With tears of Joy I cry
With foldedpalms up to the sky.
I wait, I wait and I wait
In the name of fate
For the arrival of the rains
But of no gains?
Yet I lose no hope
Sitting on the roof top
Where not a single sparrow or a crow pop
To inquire of me seated on a furnace
Where the blazing sun with all its grace
Appear in smiles to test my patience
I pray for the rains
The sun have taxed my brains
I cannot think
I sink
How to carry on my job with sincerity?
I know not but pray to the deity
To send the clouds and pour down heavily on the roof top and the adjacent terrace
My words are listened and the sky is now in black dress
God send the rain
At least it will refrain
The scorching sun of June passing through Gemini to create havoc on me
Oh my guardian angels see
How I bleed profusely in quest of the rain
With the hope to soothe my brain
My mind and spirit will then fly
With tears of Joy I cry
With foldedpalms up to the sky.
