I walked the path with heavy eyes,
Where heaven gleamed and hell would rise.
Nirvana called, and Mukti sang—
Yet hollow were the notes that rang.
I wove my robe with careful thread,
Of rituals learned and scriptures read.
A crown of fire, a cloak of peace,
But none could bid the longing cease.
Salvation stood, a distant shore,
Each step weighed down by hope for more.
Paradise, like gold refined,
Glowed bright—yet outwardly confined.
For every jewel sewn in place
Was fear of loss, the pride of grace.
And every stitch a whispered plea
To lock the door and hold the key.
I thought this garb would set me free,
But shackles soft cannot unweave.
Though draped in light, the weight I bore
Was not the self, but what it wore.
What use is heaven shaped by dread,
Or freedom forged where hope is fed?
The soul that fears the flame or prize
Knows not the truth, but painted lies.
The fire that strips these threads apart
Will burn the fear that haunts the heart.
For nothing stays, no crown remains—
Save love that blooms beneath the chains.
Step bare upon the earth, unrobed.
Let paradise dissolve, corrode.
In emptiness, the light will fall—
No chains, no fear—just All in all.
