I Want Nothing Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I Want Nothing

Let us sing joyfully
Spend the day successfully
Think of no remorse
Only prayers without curse

Miss the poverty
Pray the almighty
Think for a moment
You are servant at present

You are at service
With hope and promises
You are bowing head
For message to read

You are not in pain
Worries do not remain
You have whole of world
New breathe with fresh fold

Take one day out to offer
For complete surrender
Just say” I am at your door”
No rich, no king but poor

I want nothing
Except to be human being
I think of no lust
Only want to plant the trust

Will same day come again?
Where I shall have to no pain
Calm composure at complete peace
Will life be at rest and ease?
