Where day upon day I yearn for Your presence,
I want our relationship to be sincere and close.
In a world of darkness You are my power.

You walk in advance on the way,
You do bring the best to me in life
and Your influence does set all my paths straight,

where You do wait for me to catch-up
and I come to You with an open heart without fear,
where day upon day I yearn for Your presence.

When I fall I find that You do forgive me,
where You do cultivate a beautiful disposition in me.
You do bring the best to me in life,

even when my enemies want to surround me with might,
it's You that heal my corrupt heart time and again.
In a world of darkness You are my power.

You know about every problem that do arise,
You know about the virus that comes to humanity.
Where You do cultivate a beautiful disposition in me,

You do know me when I cry and when I rejoice and when I laugh
and daily there are promises that I do read in Your word,
where day upon day I yearn for Your presence

and You do turn my path and life around,
where in the most difficult times I cling to You.
You know about the virus that comes to humanity,

also that far too many do disdain You as only mythological
and You do know every thought in my soul and spirit.
In a world of darkness You are my power,

the one with whom I entrust everything in my life,
where You do know me to depth in all things,
where in the most difficult times I cling to You,

where of every menace You do know before it happens
and You are the creator of every cell in my body,
where day upon day I yearn for Your presence.
In a world of darkness You are my power,

You are the one who wins in impossible situations.
You walk in advance on the way,
