I Went To God For Restoration Poem by Mohammad Younus

I Went To God For Restoration

I went to God for restoration
When I was utterly shattered.
Clung to Him like a newborn
Grasps tightly to its mother.

Returning to my origin,
To my Creator, my Architect,
I cannot endure or exist
Without His repairs and transformations.

Hours, days, and years He invests
Restoring me, a broken artifact.
Revitalized, His love fills me with elation.

Seek Him for repair
When you are hopelessly broken.
He is always poised to mend
His creations,
Brought forth by His command: 'Be! '
And they came to be.

He is ever prepared to restore
And renew me.
Why should I not seek Him,
To remain in my original form,
As from His spirit
He shaped me from nothing.

Thanks are due to Him.
I am never lost or last,
For He always brings me back.
He never ceases to restore me.

Never the last love,
Never the final stop,
Just a divine restoration shop.
I am never lost or last.
