I Wish - Poem by Sandra Osborne

I wish we weren’t at war, I wish
there wasn’t any hunger, I wish every
child was loved, I wish there was no pollution,
I wish we had peace, I wish God talked more,
I wish I had a better car, I wish my sister
loved me, I wish George Bush had lost, I wish
his brother had too, I wish I was a better poet.
I wished upon a star once, I wished that
wishes meant something. It never came true.

Tch Tch Tch... OF course dreams mean something. They give us desires that can lead wherever we want to take them. OOOh yes....Hey Jan...(Get yer mind out the gutter) hehehhe

So sad, but so true. I wish they meant something, too. (Report)Reply
