I wish I could
Wednesday,2nd October 2019

I wish I could speak
without feeling guilty or weak
it was a good and happy week
I addressed the days and tried to seek solace

why were we not cordial?
as an individual
to seek and compromise
as promised earlier

you were reasonable and quiet
but I let
the opportunity to pass off
and laughed at the proposal

you were still at an ease
and pleased me
with calmness
with no discomfiture lines

it was then I realized
and ceased to exist
as an arrogant man
and thought as good human
