I Wish I Were (I Miss You) - Poem by Michael P. McParland

Good afternoon sweet Kira my true love and dream
I hope you are well and have felt every last
bit of love and warmth that I send.
I miss you so much and am still feeling the aches
of wanting you throb inside of me bad.
I want to hold you right here
while we watched Ohio State play.
I wish you were here my sweet love to
share this day and the last part of this game
which is one of the few things keeping me
happy, hopeful and sane while we aren't together right now.
It's one of the things that helps get me through
and I can't wait to share this one thing of many with you.

Oh my sweet darling how I wish I were with you
my body is seriously hurting just as badly
and I just want to be with you holding on
so very tightly feeling your deep love and caring
as you tell me you love me and all will
go well and be taken care of so not to worry.
I just want to be with my precious lady
and rest my head upon your sweet shoulder
and feel your peace and strength overtake me.
I love you sweet Kira and miss you so badly.

I miss you sweet darling and wish I were with you
to just relax on this Saturday that right now
in every way feels so very painful,
my body is screaming at me and my heart
is twisting around in want of my lady,
I love you and wish I could be near you.
God bless you sweet Kira and feel me
right there beside you giving you kisses,
I just wish you were here so I could deliver them in person.
I love you sweet Kira and for Gods mercy
that we will so soon be together.
I want everyday to share the biggest smiles
while I have you by me shining in your beauty so brightly.
