I Wish To Lay Beside You Poem by Matthew Holloway

I Wish To Lay Beside You

I wish to lay beside you
Count you as my true love
To hold your hand in mine
Fingers wrapped together
I desire to plan journeys
Adventures to new places
And have you at my side
Forever and a day besides
What better adventure can be
Than, discovering another soul
Knowing more than is known
You are more than beautiful
You are the kindest form of all
The sweetest perfection
In spite of your denial
You are all that is special
I wish to lay beside you
And whisper future plans
