I Won't Decay Or Fade Away Poem by Mohammad Younus

I Won't Decay Or Fade Away

I won't decay or fade away,
So I don't bother coming back—
No need to stay in either home,
Be it heaven or hell, I lack.

I won't be struck at the final bell,
For there are no last seconds on life's clock.
Even when forced out of this shell,
My heart will swell with light and sound.

I am truly, finally free,
Believing now what I can see.
Freed from webs my roots have weaved,
Free at last, in truth believed.

Released from past, from present, future,
Purified my heart, my mind,
In the purest water of Al-Kawthar,
Where eternal springs unwind.

Cleared my mind in time's own dance,
Uplifting the divine heart's trance.
Digging deep to where I started,
Where music flows, and divine art parted.

I pick up the thread of eternity,
To join the source from which I'd fallen.
In this union, I am one,
With the light and sound, I am all in.
