I Would Like To Enter Old Age



I would like
to enter old age
on the gift
of my lover's arm
her voice
showing me each
well worn word
placed perfectly
in my mind.

Her laughter
a gentle rain
I turn my upturned
face to
her kiss
all
I have ever wished for
her smile
the dream I am
dreaming now.
