Ice Free Poem by Jennifer Ottinger

Ice Free

Rating: 5.0

Twirling around and around,
I am no longer bound.
No one to hide behind,
No more being blind.
Being entirely free,
I can always see.
Whatever wishes to control,
And whatever wishes to take a toll.

Skating
Twirling
Spinning
Falling

My feet move themselves,
In ever ending spirals.
The ice now my road,
In this frostbiting cold.

Forever skating
Twirling
Spinning
Falling
