Iced Poem by Jason Graham

Iced

Rating: 3.0

Iced are my feelings
Here I stay in the cold uncared for
With so many backs turned the heat of love is gone
I have only but one feeling
A feeling of cold, lost, confusion
The world keeps from me in this way
Alone is such darkness
Alone in the cold

Where is their heat for me?
Where can I go?
Who cares to heat my emotionally frozen corpse?
Chased away
Finding few things of joy

Help my cold body
Crush the ice of despair
Be my heat, my joy
Be my life and friend

You could have thought about more adjectives for the word cold. Some synonyms perhaps. You have repeated it too much I think. Keep trying.
