Ideally, A Love Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Ideally, A Love

Rating: 5.0

My only sin is that I don't have you in my arms
Ideally you are right and just
To fill my hope and fantasies
But instead, you are far away
And I must decide to chase my poetic dreams
Or live out my days in solitude
O' how I want to feast on fame
And cast out a spell with words
To create a desire in you for me
Ah! It would be a pipe dream for us
Making love in a field of sunflowers
And watch the moon rise after

Poetry can fill every void in us....even in love. Beautifully expressed. Very touching.

From the opening line, comes a mesmerizing and bewitching confection on the powers of love. Its a beautiful impressionistic work. Stellar LeeAnn!
