Idolatry Poem by Lauren Michaels

Idolatry

Rating: 5.0

Oh goodness.
Gracious
Me.

Oh startle stillness into me.

With teacups full of dark brown tears.
And such forceful freedom
In structure.
And ever such intricate, intimate
Detail. Careful and clear and concise.
And magic.

Lord help me.
I want to BE
