If Ever I Know Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

If Ever I Know

If ever I come to know
That wind may blow
In favorable condition
I shall strengthen the relation

Think of nothing
But offer something
That shall always be memorable
Worth to remember and adorable

You were pretending
As if not knowing
But in fact loving
And believing

I was in dark
From the start
But had wish to have an affair
Which I looked very fair

I could see hidden hint
Behind your eyes wink
You were hesitant to reveal
But I could grasp your internal will

I knew you will fall
And crush the wall
The moment I propose
And shall look down with pause
