If I told you how I felt would you love me
Or would you say thank you and just hug me
Would you know what to say
Or just turn and look the other way
Please don’t pretend

How would this make me feel
Cold and ill on the inside
But I cant let you see that
I wont let you see that
So on the outside u see my smiling face

All the while I’m drowning with disgrace
Now my heart is beating at a faster pace
Overwhelming emotions like a lost ship in the ocean
Cries for help but nobody to listen
There’s something missing but what

The soft touch, soft words, tender kisses
This is all I wanted and my only wishes
Will you love me please say you will
Please take away the pain and the pills
