If I Were A Girl Poem by Emmanuel Karikoga

If I Were A Girl

Rating: 5.0

If I were a girl; I would date that dude that make me smile
I would keep him close; cause there is no Mr Right
Rich, famous or without; I would love him just like that
Holding hands as we fight
To change our history and the old path.
Each time we meet;
I would give him a kiss and a hug;
And since I'm the jealous type;
It would be enough proof;
To show those girls that he is mine

If I were a girl; I would give him mutual support
In each and everything he endeavour
The same way I would want him to treat me like
Since we all hold different talents
I would text him day and night
Checking on his progress at least twice
"Babe how is it going? I love you and please sleep tight"

If I were a girl; I would get mad over a missed call
Even if the real intension was to buzz
I would pretend as if it's not fine
Till he apologies and tell me those sweet nothings
Memories of laughter and joy
Winding up time inasmuch as I want more of it with my boy

If I were a girl; I would make a petition everyday
Asking divine intervention to protect my Bae
So that as we travel in that highway
We will establish an unshakeable bond
That will forever reign

Wish of a girl brought up in self through imaginary and imagery is amazingly and brilliantly expressed in this poem...10
