If I were there with you
I'd hold you close to me
You would get to feel
Heaven on earth you see

I'd wrap my arms around you
I'd squeeze you soft and tight
I'd whisper in your ear
Everything will be alright

I'd stay there right beside you
In everything you'd do
I'd tell the world so all would know
I am there to comfort only you

The days would turn to night
I'd still be by your side
Because when someone really cares
Feelings should never hide

If I were there with you
Your problems wouldn't disappear
But they would be easier to bear
Because someone who cares is near

When the heart speaks
The truth is always spoken
Promises that are made
From the heart should never be broken
