If it pleases you
I'll take you anywhere.
We'll cross deserts.
We'll cross oceans.
We'll cross the galaxy.
We'll go anywhere outside these four walls.
If it pleases you
But promise me you'll never leave me.
And love me like the sea that hugs the shoreline.
Love me like the spider
Banquet dreaming dew-lit feasts forever more.
You know you've got my heart.
The harvest of the light and the dark
The injustice of the impressment of all perfumes
If it pleases you
I'll take you anywhere.
I'll stick like a shadow to your toes.
If it pleases you
I'll work with the ants in the dirt.
To put a smile on your face
If it pleases you
I'll stop acting all messed up.
And take my place beside you.
So, you can, like a tiger shark, mantis eat me whole.
