If It's Rage You Want Poem by Jim Boone

If It's Rage You Want

I don’t want to check my credit score!
Will not read the fine print!
Quit sending me life insurance solicitations!
Stop insisting that I do anything at my age!

Know that I don’t care what John Q thinks (!)
Only my friends and some neighbors.

I do not want ‘weather advisories’ to preempt
My television watching! I sure don’t want
Unsolicited telephone life-intrusions or
Anyone knocking on my door that I don’t know!

Someone being mean (or worse) to children
And senior citizens are the lowest
Forms of humanity: Snakes! !

Bullies are the perpetrators of hate-crimes!
Good Samaritans with veiled agendas PMO! As do
Politicians on TV, promising the undeliverable –
Any form of ‘campaigning’!

However, if it’s RAGE you want, look elsewhere
This is as loud as I ever get. About what?
