If It Was Poem by Susheela Alexiose

If It Was

There's a pain that pierces
through the heart
There's a wound that penetrates
deep inside the marrow
It's the pain of loneliness
of being left alone after being loved
or believed so, deep within
Would 've been better
if it was a dream
it wouldn't have hurted so much!
