If It's All Laid On Poem by Raymond Farrell

If It's All Laid On

If it's all laid on
And there's really no choice
If I'm destined to be a pauper
Must I bear it and rejoice?
Knowing that scoundrels dress in silk
And give not a passing thought
As the unsuspecting they bilk! !
