everything would be swell, just people trying to please

if love was the cure for those that are dying
everything would be swell, just people trying

if love was real, as you or me
for poems the need there would not be

if love was a drug, and could alter our minds
how often would we use it, mabey all the time

if love knew of me, would it make an effort to find me
would i accept it or would i hide it

if love could bring people together
would it make our lives any better

if you dont know of the thing they call love
how can you belieive in the good things above

if it a mystery and life is a despair
theres a little thing called love

and it really does care.
