If Love Dies? Poem by RIC BASTASA

If Love Dies?

Rating: 3.5

if love dies
what does he care?
love like humans
coming from humans
knows too
what death is

if love dies
shall i die with it?
shall i not befriend
the survivor?

shall i try hate? what a choice?
too damning

but how about indifference?
shall it hurt you more?

you chose it but i won't
i had much of it
before you came
into the portals of my life.

i will try being in love again.
i think i deserve it.
i think i must be born again
in some other bosom.

if love dies, bury it, it will then be a rich soil go and plant roses plant a mango tree roses for the decayed memories and mango for the dripping sweetness Qué más hay excepto los ojos azules españoles what more of her se puede pedir? va a pedir su mano para el matrimonio, Fígaro?
