If Of Any One Thing Poem by james watkin

If Of Any One Thing

If of any one thing
Seaward, to be heard, begs
Its the stubbly-struggle
Of crustacean legs.

And to have it be seen
As needful of pity
Its each wave-raced, down-chased
Flapping turtle baby.
