**If Only You Knew**
If only you knew the words left unspoken, the whispers of dreams that time had unbroken.
In shadows we linger, in silence we stand, with hearts full of stories, yet no one to understand.
If only you knew the weight of a glance, the dance of emotions that flicker and prance.
A smile holds a secret, a sigh hides a plea, in moments so fleeting, it's you who I see.
If only you knew how laughter can hide, the tears of a soul that's been bruised deep inside.
Behind every chuckle there's pain intertwined a tapestry woven with threads undefined.
If only you knew how love can transform a tempest of feelings that gently can warm.
It blooms in the silence, it thrives in the night an ember ignited by soft candlelight.
If only you knew the strength in our scars each mark tells a story beneath distant stars.
We're warriors fighting through battles unseen each struggle has molded us into what's keen.
If only you knew this truth I hold dear
That every sweet moment is precious and clear.
So take my hand softly and step into view together we'll wander if only you knew.
This poem is a beauty. Captivating images, excellent choice of words and phrases and endearing rhyme scheme… enjoyed thoroughly.
