If Politicians Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

It is people’s wisdom
But works seldom
Austerity measures
Are not for pleasure

Country needs expenditure cut
Unnecessary waste of money should be put on hold
Corrupt politicians should be sent behind bars
Only peace initiatives and no more talk of war

When employees are corrupt
The country can still progress and wait
But if politicians are dishonest
Country never expect best

If Greece believes in simplicity
It must cut the expenditure on military
Withdraw from alliance or treaty
But concentrate on matters monetarily

It will be same again
People shall be put to hard work to maintain
Pay heavy taxes at the cost of poor
Rich may rise further and become wealthier
