If Someone Wish For To Harm You Poem by Francis Duggan

If Someone Wish For To Harm You

Of violence and terrorism and of hate crimes we hear
But we may as well be dead if we give way to fear
For none can guarantee the length of our life span
And if someone wish for to harm you they most certainly can,
Tis by chance we were born and life is a chance
And many become victims of circumstance
Their bad luck to be in the wrong place and there at the wrong time
Oh pity the unfortunate victims of the most heinous crime,
From those who wish to harm you there is nowhere to hide
And far too many in war and in terrorist attacks have died
Those who are guilty of the worst crimes of hate
Are people that human society create,
Some people have in them the urge for to kill
And if someone wish for to harm you they most certainly will.
