If Sorrow Knocks - Poem by Dennis Go

If sorrow knocks
On lovely voices
And happy cheers

I'd rather have it stated
In words of silence
And deep blue tears

For blurry faces
Cover up the radiance
Of sincerity's smile

As the heart is cheated
Of its long-time due
Of broken feelings

And painful goodbyes.
