Sitting back in my poet's
heart with little mind
capacity
I sometimes
picture physics
and wish for less opacity
My heart laughs as my
mind stalls out
my heart grins
and casts many doubts
my heart says
if the world is round
then all ships
would be always
downhill bound
if the Earth were round
surely one unaltered
photo from 'space'
can be found
if the planet were round
there could be no Nile
800 miles flat, no down
if the Earth were round
the horizon in front
for 100 miles seen,
would be a frown
My heart
tells a story
far different from
my mind
one got lost in Uni
and to this day
still unwinds
