If You Tell The Truth Poem by Randy McClave

If You Tell The Truth

If you tell the truth
You will be known for that faith,
If you tell the truth
Your honor will be safe.

If you tell the truth
Angels will undoubtedly smile,
If you tell the truth
You will have defeated guile.

If you tell the truth
You will be known for your honesty,
If you tell the truth
You will be known for veracity.

If you tell the truth
The Devil will always hate you,
If you tell the truth
Then your worries you will have slew.

If you tell the truth
You will be know for your integrity,
If you tell the truth
You will be known for your sincerity.

If you tell the truth
Everyone will cherish your word,
If you tell the truth
Honesty will be known when you are heard.

If you tell the truth
You will never have to remember a lie,
If you tell the truth
You'll go to Heaven when you die.
