by Freeyad Ibrahim
If you were a candle
My heart would be a butterfly
Roaming round you
Like a pilgrim
Around the Kaaba!
If you were a rose
My heart is then a bulbul
Sings to you
Until he or you die
He would stay...
never would fly.
If you were a flower
Then my heart would become a bee
Gives honey
As long as you
Will be
So looks the life like
In my eyes
Without you:
Somber
Silent
Songless
Tasteless!
