If You Would Be Mine - Poem by Melissa Koeman

I had my doubts girl but now I know that
I'm in love with something real
If I you would be mine…
You would be the star in my sky
A star that would twinkle bright
So bright that my life would just light up
Your light would chase all my darkness away
Tenderly I would kiss you
And ask you please be the one I need the most
In my dreams I see you, hear you and feel you
Only then your mine
At those moments I don’t want to come down
Back down to the ground
Never wake again…
Cause my dreams are always wrong
