I whisper hello
But i only hear the sound of the dripping rain
Are you friend, or are you foe?
Im drowning now as i watch my lies flame
My shallow heart is my company
Because you left me here, laying in broken glass
And made me feel the dreadful misery
I see Id lost my only chance
To keep my mind away from you
Because i dont know you, but you walked right in
You told me you're beyond all evil and sin
You're the ghost that haunts my past
& you're the thing that will never last
So you've trapped me here in this dark lonely cell
It surrounds my emotions, too keep them from escaping
You pushed me too far, till i fell
And all i can feel is your intimidating
I know you wanted me to bleed
I didnt know it was your need
And this is how you can feed
I never even knew you in the first place
Unpredictably you threw me in disgrace
Too deep, im hurt
So yes Ill mourn my grief
There's no way to feel relief
& the worst part is that i never even knew you
You just entered my soul
Believe me, it's all true
Because in my flesh i feel your growl
You're looking for new ways to harm
You make me feel nothing that's warm
I wonder if you're breathing
& if a human can cause all this
I dont know if you hear my pleading
But dont tell me why, because Ignorance Is Bliss
So i think about life and its mystery
I think about the past & history
I think about my hollow dreams
& Now, How useless everything seems
There're much more important things, I believe
Too much sin to decieve
So I'll give you what you need
Because I realize you wont leave till you get it
I see the horror that you lead
Too much evil where i sit
So i hand myself to your grace
I give in from the things i had to face
Im useless to me now, dont you see
Dont you see what you made me?
Take me now, I agree
My life and lies, were all meant to be
So i dont deserve this life, your task is now done
Take me now, I wont run
Dont tell me why now, i already know
I know everything you wanted to show
& The worse part is that i dont even know you
But dont tell me, because Ignorance Is Bliss
