Ignoring The Truth Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Writing politically because there's so many flagrant
lies being told, not understanding how people can be
so ignorant with truth staring them right in the face.

Reporters pretty much telling the people what to think
and say, telling them not to listen to the truth, to
ignore the facts, etc.

Reality when it finally sets in will end up shocking
them to the core of their beings, this poet feeling
sorry for them, but they're choosing to ignore truth.
