I'll Climb It Even If? Poem by Mark Heathcote

I'll Climb It Even If?

Take me, take me
to the chamber of your soul
Whatever spiral staircases
there is to climb; behold
I'll climb it even if once there
you're enamoured with gold
Because it takes courage
to climb the top of a parapet
And fall as if everything
meant nothing at all.
