Ill Wind Poem by Ima Ryma

Ill Wind

In a field two wind turbines sit.
One notices the other is
Having quite a bad coughing fit,
And says in sympathy, 'Gee whiz, '
'You really don't sound very well.'
The coughing turbine does reply,
'Yeah, from these symptoms, I can tell'
'I've caught nasty germs from the sky, '
'Probably from a recent breeze'
'That I encountered a while back, '
'And a few times on me did sneeze, '
'Covering me with germ attack.'

'Bad case of flu this seems to be.'
'An ill wind must have blown on me.'
