Illogical Equation Poem by Miranda Redden

Illogical Equation

Rating: 5.0

If it does not,
will not,
won’t ever consume you,
Why do it?

Apart from brushing,
bathing,
eating,
breathing,
and sighing...

If it only asks for a part of your soul
Don’t give it

For we are all filled
To capacity
With the space ever expanding
And the potential ever growing

That giving less than a whole
Will not only subtract from your being
But will leave you with nothing
