I'm checking out,
Calling it suicide or running away,
I no longer care enough to stay,
Alone for uncounted number of days,
Death may be the next great adventure,
Or a silent nothingness forever,
I was given too much time,
Burnt out trying to survive,
Each thought is a past destination,
A prayer for my fragmented will,
Don't say life is fine,
No one cares when your down and on the out,
What can I say or do?
Could I take a weapon and put myself away,
I ain't got no bullet nor gun,
No knife or drug,
I'm to blue to look for one,
Death is forever,
A smile of empty joy,
Will you listen to suicide?
Think hard before you do,
It has all the power,
It knows all the answers to all questions asked,
A trick of life to come unmasked,
Dash in your drink,
Let me finally sink,
I'm checking out,
This what I want,
So don't be sad,
I'm checked out.
