I'm Leaving Poem by Nastasimir Franovic

I'm Leaving

I'm off to travel in time.
Along the ridge of the blue sky
To come to you when you imagine at the top of the wave, right to our hidden cove.
I will be the yellow pollen dust from our cypresses when you look for me by the name at the stone monument. I will be in the mirror of the water from our spring when you look for me from your window.
I will be the sparkle in your eyes and the warm wind on your lips. I'll sneak up into your thoughts unexpectedly.
I'll be red cherry as the blood in your veins.
In your hand, my letter will be read a hundred times, when in your memory you will protect me from oblivion
I'll watch you sobbing for me.
