I'm Not... Poem by DM W

I'm not just a 'soap box' poet,
A 'mystic' poet or a 'nature' poet.
I'm all of these things and more!
Sometimes, I'm inclined to
Offer the sumptuous flowers
Of Romanticism. Sometimes,
I prefer to tread the dark path
Of the strange and the surreal.
On other occasions,
I'm called to create satire.
I'm not just a label. I'm a mover
And a shaker. I'm not just a prophet
Or a progressive educator.
I'm all of these things and more!
