I'm The Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

I'm The

I'm a mouse
Yes, I'm a mouse
I live with a cat in a big older house

Kitty does not like me
She never wants to play
So every time I see her-
I always run away

I'm a cat
Yes, I'm a cat
My job is to catch the mouse-
If I can find out where he's at

This house is so big-
And he always runs away
I wish I could catch him-
So I can end this silly game

I'm a dog
Yes, I'm a dog
I don't like the cat-
But we have to get along

My mother won't like me-
If I chase the cat away
But, when she is not looking
I do it anyway

I'm the House
Yes, I'm the house
I give shelter to the creatures-
Always running all about

Sometimes they drive me crazy-
With all their foolish play
But, I'm the house
So I have nothing I can say
