Imagine having a gal
Who is your friend and best pal,
Who knew she wanted to marry you without regret
The dry first week she and you met.
A gal who loves God and loves people
Who worships with you under a steeple,
Who doesn't smoke or drink or swear
And who always says a prayer.
A gal who only goes out to work, or to work out
And who never runs about,
A gal who never lies or cheats
And she always keeps all the receipts.
A gal who has only three close friends
And not on anyone of them she depends,
For you alone she does wait
And her priorities are straight.
Imagine having a gal just like that
Who tells you wherever she's ever at
A gal who is honest and caring, faithful and true
And she has no interest or eyes for anybody, but you.
