Imagine This Poem by Randy McClave

Imagine, if we are in the end of days
As God watches our many ways,
The 10 commandments we have ignored
And our sins have all soared.
We hate people to our East and West and North and South
We constantly accuse and insult them with our mouth,
And we always blame our problems on the poor and the needy
While we proudly support the wealthy and the greedy.
We many have a very hateful attitude
And we constantly ignore every Beatitude,
Many will think and do and say, " What's In It For Us"
As they forget about our Lord Jesus.
We have racists and bigots that will never change
To God they are all estrange,
They scream they are Christian's, but they are not
By the Devil they have already been bought.
We have people who place all problems on others
Because, they don't see those of a different race as their sisters or brothers,
And they hate their neighbors that live down the street
Because, of their curriculum they do not meet.
We scream excuses and lies why we hate immigrants
As many goes on wild and lying witch hunts,
So, as we separate the lambs from the goats
God, is always taking notes.
Many enjoy to shout out hate with searched Bible verses
As if they were all curses,
But, the Bible they do not understand or read
So, they never take it to heed.
As our world is now blistering
God is still watching and always listening,
Soon all our souls God will appraise
Now imagine this, if we are in the end of days.
