Immortal Love Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Immortal Love

I am here to bear all the pain
Of a life without love that has gone in vain
Rubbing heart with a stone to break free
Gives more pain with all the bitter memories

I am here to play with her hair
To meet her daily coming down the stair
To grasp her tight till life meets its end
To take her as my bride not only just a friend

But I lost her like a nice dream
Ahead the path for me is dark it does seem
No one is there to let me sleep on her lap
Without love I feel as if fallen into devil's trap

Days are passing on without a hope
As if I am sliding down a dangerous slope
My breathes take her name and weep
Wish my heart stop beating to give me my final sleep

It is hard to live without the one who provided all the support. It is something one never thinks of when things are going smoothly. Nicely expressed in the poem.
