Immortalised In Mortal Eyes Poem by Allen Steble The Philosophical Poet

Immortalised In Mortal Eyes

To be immortalised in mortal eyes
Is to perish but never really die
It's what the stars become
When they shine their bright light
For times and times to come
Even when their day turns to night
And that light fades and dies
They live forever in mortal eyes

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
To be immortal does not mean to never die, it means to live forever by following your unique purpose and creating the life and legacy that your heart pushes you towards. Those who become immortal live with courage for that purpose everyday and create it through suffering and persistence. It makes them different and stand out from the crowd, and in the end, brings them peace.
