Immortality & death

We are mortal
any accident can prove fatal
life is abruptly ended
yet, we have not mended our ways

immortality and death
both heavy breathtaking exercise with faith
for death is certain
and that cycle is always maintained

the man was always mortal
as an individual
but remain immortal
for his creative work as an individual

he is immortal in the book for record
he is remembered word by word
his contribution is like drawing a permanent line
he is defined as a legendary figure

what deters a person?
death is no reason
mortal remains are buried
but his name is carried
