Impromptu Poem Poem by Melvina Germain

Impromptu Poem

I’m just a poor girl
suffering with
the back burner blues.
Immersed in the darkest pain,
while cowering in the news.
Forgive the negativity,
that’s all I have to give.
Sinking beneath the tar bridge,
not sure I’m going to live.
